Private rented sector access schemes in London: Outcomes, costs and success factors (July 2008)

Private rented sector access schemes are playing an increasing role in preventing and responding to homelessness in London and elsewhere. Crisis and the London Housing Foundation are interested in the role that such schemes can play in providing sustainable housing outcomes for single homeless people and other vulnerable groups. They have commissioned this research jointly to identify: the outcomes achieved by deposit schemes; the costs of delivering schemes; key factors of success; and the strategic benefits of deposit schemes.
