NHS Design Champions Event June 2008 (1st September 2008)
An event for NHS Design Champions was held on 26 June 2008, at Barts and the London NHS Trust. The varied programme began with a keynote speech from Ben Bradshaw, Minister of State for Health Services and Ministerial Design Champion for Health, and continued by: Describing the experience of three NHS Design Champions; Presenting the latest thinking about patient-focused, sustainable buildings; Showcasing good practice through projects, including Barts' award-winning West Wing; Providing facilitated discussions about design quality and sustainability.
