Public Health Nutrition (27th October 2008)
The Public Health Nutrition service tackles a wide range of issues around poverty, social inclusion, equal opportunities and community development. Working with other professionals such as the dietetic service, health visitors, and the children's service, it aims to provide services that complement each other. They aim to avoid duplication and provides a need-led service that deals with issues such as obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular diseases.
