Response to the consultation on the revision of the Fair Access to Care Services guidance to support councils to determine eligibility for social care services (16th December 2009)
A public consultation on revised guidance on eligibility for social care closed on 6th October 2009. This report is a summary of the consultation responses. The revised guidance will replace the 2003 Fair Access to Care Services guidance and aims to support fair and transparent implementation of eligibility criteria, within the new policy context of personalisation and prevention set out in Putting People First.
