National Infarct Angioplasty Project (NIAP) interim report (18th February 2008)
NIAP is a feasibility study looking at how far primary angioplasty can be rolled out as the main treatment for heart attack in place of clot-busting drugs. This interim report covers findings based on the first year of data from seven pilots and is being published for information.

This document reports the findings of a project conducted by the Delivering Quality and Value team over the past year. The aim of the project is to answer the question, 'What are the aspects of an efficient clinical pathway from diagnosis to end safe renal failure to assessment ad addition to the transplant list?' by focusing on one aspect of renal services; the year leading up to renal replacement therapy.
